The city of Havana, famous for the gangsters of the 1950s. Not to forget the cigars, the rum, the old American cars, and wonderful architecture. We visited it three times and grew to love the city even more every time.

Traditional farming methods are a seen throughout Cuba. We later stopped at this farmers house for a cigar and coffee. By invitation from Jesus our walking guide we hired from Pinar del Rio in the in Vinales Valley.
The Vinales Valley is a very poor area economically speaking. Very rich in others. Beautiful scenery and friendly people around every corner.
Born 14 June 1928. This young medical student became a highly principled guerrilla fighter. Whose image, taken from a photograph by Alberto 'Korda' Gutierrez. Can now only be described as iconography. Seen everywhere on anything.
